Les appareils de la série AMTHF existent avec 2, 3 ou 4 contacts sous forme de régulateur de température (TR) et de contrôleur de température (TW). L'écart suiveur des différents contacts en Kelvin est réglé de façon figée en usine sur demande du client. Les thermostats pour montage en saillie fonctionnent suivant le principe de la dilatation des liquides ; un microrupteur sert d'organe de coupure électrique.
